Gaudi Trail


The maverick genius architect Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) goes hand in hand with the city of Barcelona, having designed some of the most popular tourist attractions in Spain.
Enjoy a guided tour of the Palau Guell, the Casa Battlo, La Predrera.

Sorolla Museum


Located in Chamberi, the Sorolla Museum is a typically Andalusian-style house and is known as the former home of Joaquín Sorolla Bastida, a Valencian artist. Full of his Impressionists paintings, sculptures, ceramics and photographs, the museum offers an insight into the personal life of the artist as most of his possessions are still on display in their original environment.

Nature Museum of Menorca


Run by the local goverment, the Nature Museum in Ferreries is the centre of information.
The museum hosts seasonal exhibitions throughout the year, special conferences, workshops and other projects and help to explain the local environment.

Grace Kelly : Style Icon


Grace Kelly was the very essence of glamour in the 1950's. With sophisticated hats, elegant gloves and inspirational outfits she set an example to all lovers of fashion and elegance.
A lot of these infamous outfits are displayed at Grace Kelly: Style Icon.
The V&V exhibition goes through her changing style from her on-screen days all the way to her time as Princess of Monaco.

The famous HermA Kelly bag was named after Grace Kelly and is also on show next to the dressed from her films and the incredible gown she wore when she received her Oscar in 1955. Take in breath taking gowns from the 1960's and the 1970's by her favourite couturiers: Balenciaga, Givenchy, Yves St Laurent and Dior.

Maison Martin Margiela '20


Margiela's outsize clothes speak for themselves. With the use of recycled materials he marked the 1980's power dressing. With 20 years of work to his name, the exhibition at Somerset House shows some of his most fantastic creations.

Infancy: Photos by Isabel Muñoz

Barcelona’s CaixaForum celebrates 20 years of the CRC (Convention on the Rights of the Child) with a powerful exhibition titled: Infancy.
Award-winning photographer Isabel Muñoz captures children across four continents, Asia, America, Africa and Europe.

Pipilotti Rist


With a mix of bold colours, flowing animation and music, Swiss video Artist Pipilotti Rist addresses themes of femininity and the body in her installations. She received the Joan Miró prize in 2009 and is now presenting her latest work in Barcelona’s Joan Miró Foundation.

Anish Kapoor

The Guggenheim museum in Bilbao is currently hosting a solo exhibition of pioneering sculptor Anish Kapoor’s works. Tall Tree & The Eye can be seen just outside the museum.
Anish Kapoor is known for his original creations and takes pride in the fact that his work is being presented in some of the world´s most famous galleries.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is Kapoor’s Shooting into the Corner, showing a cannon shooting projectiles of red wax into a corner at regular intervals.

Henry Moore

150 of his best works including wood carvings, stone sculptures, a selection of bronzes and drawings can be seen in this exhibition honoring Henry Moore.
His forms were usually abstracts of the human figure, typically showing the mother- and-child relationship, especially his works around 1946 after the birth of his daughter Mary Moore.
Some drawings show the claustrophobic huddle of women and children in tube tunnels, from his time during the Blitz.
With the aid of loans from all across the globe and the collaboration with the Art Gallery of Ontario, this exhibition presents the most comprehensive selection of Moore’s work.

Asilah Arts Festival

In August artists from all over the world join together at the Asilah Arts Festival,  to express their creativity on an entire wall of the Medina.
Watching studio and performing artists creating murals makes for a lively, inspiring atmosphere. Writers, dancers and musicians add to the entertaining flair.

Tracey Emin RA: Walking with Tears

Tracey Emin grew up in Margate and went on to study printmaking at Maidstone College of Art. She completed her MA in painting at the Royal College of Art, London.
This is the first time she is exhibiting this medium exclusively and shows a selection of work from the past 16 years of her career.
