Hipnotik Festival

Offering a variety of workshops in the field of street art, such as breakdance and graffiti, the Contemporary Culture Centre of Barcelona, hosts the annual Hipnotik Hip Hop Festival. An interesting festival with great music, cool people and great workshops.

MTV Galicia 2010

MTV is back with a brilliant line - up this year, including Arcade Fire, Echo & The Bunnymen and

Festival Ebrovision


The Festival Ebrovision brings the most important independent acts of Spain to the stage, such as Iván Ferreiro (Los Planetas), La Habitacion Roja and Lori Meyer. Offset Festival


The Offset Festival is a weekend full of live music, art exhibitions, a fun fair and a global food market with lots of delicious specialties from all across the globe. Set in a rustic atmosphere in Hainault Forest Country Park just outside London, this is a festival which can be enjoyed by people of all ages: those who are not that in to the electronic and hardcore sounds of the excellent line up of musicians may appreciate a guided walk in the amidst mother nature.

ExplorArte Festival

If you're looking for a festival offering everything your little heart desires, music, art, dance and a fantastic vibe then you should drop by this years ExplorArte Festival in Estepona. Organized by the people of the infamous Tolone Bar in Calle Real, this Festival has become the annual talk of the town. Offering young musicians and artists alike a place to exhibit their art work and play their tunes, this event guarantees two nights of great fun, a lot of eye candy and a great show performed by the various bands scheduled to play such as, The Oh! Trikelians, Tragic Company, Metro Motel and Helyon.

Tickets can be purchased at the Tolone Bar in Estepona or at the Entrance of the Plaza de Torros in Estepona.

Guitar Festival Cordoba

Córdoba (Spain) is turned into the “city of the guitar” in the hot summer month of July, when the annual Córdoba Guitar Festival becomes the focal point for culture and leisure.

This year the festival celebrates it’s 30th birthday with a high national and international reputation amongst all Guitar lovers due to the great performers and teachers who participate.

The Festival consists of two parts:

The Tuition Program offers workshops and master classes on guitar construction, contemporary  and modern guitar, early and classical guitar, classes in composition for guitar and flamenco dancing and singing classes.

Then there is the program of concerts and shows which are held in the city’s most characteristic venues.

Some of the best guitar players have performed at this Festival including:
Paco Serranco, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, B.B King, Chuck Berry, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan and Joe Satriani.

Imagina Funk Festival

Imagina Funk counts as one of the most important funk festivals in the south of Spain.
The Festival is held in the small village of Torres in the Sierra Mágina Natural Park.
For two days people come together in this beautiful environment to enjoy some of the world’s best funk artist.


Some of the bands scheduled to jam at this years Imagina Funk Festival include:
Imagina Funk Band,  The Slingshots, Lefties Soul Connection, Fanga and The Baker Brothers.

Festival Grec Barcelona

The Grec Festival dates back to 1976 when a group of directors and actors gathered and decided to organize a summer season at Teatre Grec de Montjuic, with the idea of bringing independent and experimental theatre to the city. The line up was organized in only a few weeks time and the festival has taken place annually since then.


This year sees the 34th edition of Festival Grec in Barcelona, which is held outdoors at various different places throughout Barcelona.
It is known as one of the biggest festivals in Barcelona featuring Dance groups, actors, musicians and circus performers from all over the globe!
Considered one of the most important events in Barcelona’s cultural calendar, Festival Grec shows are usually limited to one night, so make sure to book your ticket on time!

Cante de las Minas

One of the most important flamenco festivals in Spain presented by La Unión in Murcia, hosts 12 days of overwhelmingly passionate performances in the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas.

Over the course of the years it has changed from a flamenco cante (singing) competition, to one that holds all three essential aspects of flamenco: cante, toque y baile.

The whole town gets whisked away by flamenco with leading flamenco stars performing, followed by open-mic sessions in which anyone is invited to take to the stage and parties lasting until the early morning hours.

Rock in Roma

Some of the best rock bands and musicians come together to perform under the stars during the annual Rock in Roma Festival. The Ippodromo delle Capannelle holds thousands of people offering a July of Rock.

One of the most important musical events in Italy, Rock in Rome 2010 will feature top international artists such as Mika, Skunk Anansie, Shaggy, The Cranberries and The Cult. Italian artists scheduled to perform include Baustelle, Daniela Silvestri and Afterhours.

Rock of Ages

Musically this two-day festival offers everything a die-hard Rockheart could desire:
Melodic and hard, calm and hectic, soft ballads and killers riff- classics and all this brought to the audience by bands who know how to stimulate their instruments correctly. Old and new join the stage together making for a brilliant atmosphere!

The line up for the 2010 Rock of Ages Festival includes:
Golden Earring, Suzie Quatro, Nektar, Russ Ballard and Hole Full of Love.
